I have been talking a lot about the e-course I'm taking and I've also mentioned the book 'Achieve any Goal by Tracy Brian' that I just received a couple of days ago.  The basic information in both of these resources is one in the same ~ creating and taking action toward the life you want.  We create manifestation/dream boards, we write down our desires in journals and we meditate and pray about the life we wish to have.  Each of these steps are equally important as we explore the path to our dreams.  They help us to lay out the foundation for the things we really, really want. 

I love creating dream boards and meditating about my future but I didn't realize that I was leaving out one important step.  Creating a goal list.  Setting small goals and achieving them day by day is powerful. It begins that positive process that helps us feel fulfilled and happy.  I know that I am pretty good at manifesting an amazing life but, I've recently started to wonder what my full potential might be if I literally created goals toward my desires and ultimately achieved them.  Wow,  what would life feel like without procrastination.  

Well I have to say,  it feels pretty damn good. I am truly making a conscious effort to set daily goals and achieve them  My goal right now is to create a website and give 'Time with Tina' a home.  All of the creative website 'information angels' are showing up to assist me in this endeavor.  I'm creating this project from scratch so to speak,  on my own (from a novice perspective), it wont be anything fancy or professional (yet) but it will come to fruition soon. And I'm having fun in the process.  That's all that really matters, right?     

'Time with Tina' is all about my personal and spiritual journey and I am so excited to share my experiences through this blog.  I am deeply grateful for all of you that support this dream of mine.  So I invite you to continue traveling this amazing adventure with me.

BEGINNINGS

A new cycle is beginning in your life.  Wipe the slate clean; it's now time to release the old and start again.  Life goes in cycles.  In the phases of the earth, the plants die in the fall so that there can be new birth in the spring -  it's the universal dance of death and rebirth.  There's a time to end and begin,  and this is the close of one cycle and the beginning of another.  Although it's often difficult to release familiar routines, situations, or relationships when they no longer empower you, your Soul ask that you not cling to the old but set sail into new waters.  Face your fear and allow yourself to stretch in a new direction.  Your Soul is at your side, and wonderful opportunities will be born in your life.  Wholeness occurs when you can say yes to both endings and beginnings.

The universe never seizes to amaze me.  This morning I was pulling a card for myself and then one for the blog and as synchronicity would have it, the same card came up both times.  And that is just the way it should be.  The saying, 'you teach what you most have to learn' applies perfectly here.

I was given a book yesterday 'Achieve any Goal, by Brian Tracy' and it is all about taking action toward the goals you have dreamed about.  How apropos for today blog.

Here is an excerpt from the book:

Keep Your Words and Actions Consistent ~

     'Your beliefs are always manifested in your words and actions.  Make sure that everything you say and do from now on is consistent with the beliefs that you want to have and the person you want to become.  In time, you will replace more and more of your self - limiting beliefs with life - enhancing beliefs.  Over - time you will completely reprogram yourself for success.  When this occurs, the transformation that takes place in your outer life will amaze you and all the people around you.'

That particular excerpt is from the page that I am actually reading right now.  hmmm, (I love Divine humor!)

So as an added bonus the universe chose Action as the card for today.  A gentle reminder to keep moving forward with our goals and dreams and to take the next step...Action. 

ACTION

The time is now!.  Don't hesitate ~ take action!  Face your fears and do it anyway.  Of course there are times when it's important to deliberate and think carefully about an action, but there are other times when you need to step up and just go for it.  Now is the time!  Listen from your heart;  look into fear's eyes with a calm, steely gaze and forge forward with certainty and power.  Quicken your spirit by making decisions now.

AFFIRMATION:  'I step into my glorious future with determination and power.'

Nature's Healing

I am once again embarking on another new journey, one that has been calling me for more than a year now.  Resistance and procrastination have been to the two common denominators that have kept me from this clean and natural healing.   I know that this is as much for my spiritual/intuitive clarity as it is for my physical health.   I wanted to share this journey with you in hopes that it might inspire you to listen carefully if tandem messages are showing up for you too.  Repetitive message are ALWAYS there to show you the path to a more JOYFUL life.

I keep getting these reoccurring messages to change my way of eating and they are coming at me in many different directions.  So I thought perhaps it might be in my best interest to start paying attention to the gentle whispers from the angels ( and I know it is my angels at work b/c each of these messages are coming to me very unique forms.)  I certainly don't want to keep ignoring the messages until they have to whack me over the head with a serious illness in order to get me to improve my health.  

Here are some of their (my angels) ingenious delivery methods:  .  My sister just sparked a conversation with me one day about plant-based eating, (information that her Dr. had just recently mentioned to her) this subject came out of nowhere. She had no idea that this type of info was already of some slight interest to me.  She said,  'she just  felt compelled to tell me about it'.)  hmmm,  ok!  After that I started seeing cookbooks at Barnes & Noble with the words 'Plant-Base' on the cover  and I kept thinking to myself, 'I see/hear the messages angels and I'm not interested'. Until this one happened... this truly got my attention.  I was going through a William~Sanoma catalog a few weeks ago and I saw a website that had smoothie recipes for Vitamix blenders.  I have this particular blender and love it and I am always looking for new healthy recipes to make in it.  Well, I found one alright or maybe it found me!!!!  As I went to my computer to look up this website, I noticed I had some mail in my inbox so I checked that first. Out of the blue was an email from Joe Cross/http://www.jointhereboot.com/.  The very website that I was about to check out.  And to top it off ~ it was their newsletter and it said that I was already a subscriber.   (OMG), I was in complete shock at the synchronicity.  I had never signed up for this newsletter, and yet there it was in black and white.  

Instead of venturing forward and opening the email like most people would have done, I put it in a file to check out at a later date (procrastination and resistance).  I know my angels were thinking 'what do we have to do to get this girls attention?'  Well here is what they did....  a few days ago I was on facebook and I saw this video posted that said, 'Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead'.  Of course I had to see what it was about........ and the minute I clicked on it guess who it was... no other than JOE CROSS.  At this point I had to LAUGH OUT LOUD and throw in the white towel.

So I started this journey with laughter instead of my usual frustration.  I always ask my angels to help me get through all situations effortlessly (when I'm not in procrastination mode) and so far so good.  Although this is only day two I feel really good,  perhaps it is more about attitude at this point but whatever it is I like the feeling.  The plant-base way of eating and juicing can be extreme but my NEW motto is..moderation, It doesn't have to be the ALL OR NOTHING frame of mind.   I've learned after all my failed attempts at dieting to just take one day at a time and take baby steps.  To gradually move myself into this process so that I don't give up or get overwhelmed.  As hard as the angels worked to get this information to me the least I can do is give it my 100%.

Healing

Healing is occurring.  You're a natural healer. You're on the mend.  Healing is natural.  Everything in nature has the intrinsic ability to restore itself.  Often healing need to occur on the inner planes before it can manifest on the outside.  To assist this process focus on what's great and let go of what isn't working.    Hold a vision of the solution that you desire, be patient, and trust that recovery is occurring in it's own time and way.  Nature is one of our greatest healers, so spend time outside, soak up the rays of the sun, and dance in the rain.

Time with 'Tia'

It's interesting where we find our lessons in life.  Especially when you don't realize you have a lesson to learn.  When the universe decides that you might need a little tweaking  in your rigid thinking, bam... there it is without any warning.....


As most of you have read in my post 'Soul of Courage',  Duke transitioned over the 'Rainbow Bridge' last week and his sister Tia has been going through the  grieving process just like the rest of us.  Tia is my daughter and son in-laws other sweet dog.  She was adopted into her new family this past December and captured all of our hearts from day one.   Miss Tia has had a pretty traumatic journey and found tremendous love along her path to adoption.  She left lasting heart~prints on those who graciously fostered her.   Such a loving and trusting girl.  

Tia is a very sensitive and intuitive dog.  She senses when the children or her mom and dad are sick and stays close by their side while they heal.    She also recognized her brothers declining health.  So the past few weeks have been very troubling and heartbreaking for her.  Then to top matters her family was going on their annual beach vacation.  We only live two doors down  so the care of Tia wasn't going to be a problem while they were gone.  The original plan was to go over to their house everyday and take her for morning and evening walks, spend time with her during the day, make sure she had plenty to eat and drink and lots of time outside and allow her to stay in the comfort and security of her own home.  

However, the universe had a revised plan.  The plan:   To actually bring Tia to our home while her family was gone.... (shocking)

We don't have any animals.  After losing our 18 yr old beloved cocker spaniel (Bear) and 18 yr old  sweet cat (Ms. Love) six years ago, we vowed to no longer have any pets.   Although they bring great love into your life they also bring great pain when you lose them.  I admire those who just keep sharing their lives with more pets,  I just don't happen to be one who has the courage to go through it again.    Once you are used to living a life with no animals, you tend to become a bit more cranky about dogs being in your home and yard.  I know, I know that sounds very unkind and we don't intend to sound unloving in any way.  But, when you become accustomed to a home with no pet accidents and a beautiful yard with no doggie deposits  you tend to want to keep it that way.  And all of our  family members who have pets respect this wish.  

So when we said to Brandie and Chance  'just bring Tia's bed and food over and she can stay with us' they were in complete shock and so were we to be honest.  We had been setting out on the patio enjoying a glass of wine when we offered this solution to them and they were afraid it was the wine talking and that we would change our minds the next morning.   We actually had to laugh at their doubting suspicion b/c we were a bit shocked ourselves at the offer.

We were all concerned about Tia,  knowing that she was still depressed about the loss of her brother it was about to be compounded with her family leaving on vacation.  And none of us wanted her to go through any more trauma.  So here we are having  Nani, GG time with Tia and feeling very relaxed about the whole process (even the doggie deposits haven't been a big deal to pick up and remove  ~ smile).


Tia helped us learn more about ourselves this weekend, not only did we realize how much we love and care about her, we also learned that life doesn't always have to be so black and white. The gray matter is where you learn to flow with life and allow the ADVENTURE every now and then.

Take risks.  You're venturing into new frontiers and periods of expansions.  Go beyond self-imposed limitations.  Look at the world around you in new and different ways.  Something exciting is just around the corner!    Adventure entails risks, and without them, existence can become stagnant and lackluster.  If your life seems uninspired in some areas, be willing to take risks and try something new.  Don't wait until an amazing opportunity presents itself.  Start with small adventures and they will create momentum for bigger and bolder ones.   If you take enough small risks, soon your life will become a great and grand adventure.

Believe in Miracles

What a beautiful thought to wake up to this morning....  Miracles.  Yesterday I took some down time to just allow the sadness of Thursday to finish processing.  This morning I woke up refreshed and ready to see what magical miracles the universe has in store for me and all my readers.  Well, I was given two gorgeous messages.  Two cards came together for todays guidance.   Miracles  and  Believe...  how awesome is that.  

I took a class recently that shared a beautiful way of asking the Divine for assistance .    Just simply stand with your arms stretched out high toward the sky, open your heart fully to receive and ask,  'MIRACLES FIND ME NOW'.  And then - just know that all is in Divine Order..... how much easier can it be.

MIRACLES ~

Miracles occur in your life every day.  Watch for and embrace them.  As you notice and accept the small wonders in your life, greater gifts will grow in abundance all around you.  Expect miracles. Praise and celebrate them when they appear, no matter how small. Be open to allowing the Creator to solve challenges for you in mysterious and wonderful ways.  Trust that everything is unfolding graciously and perfectly in your life, and let go of fear and doubt!  Don't limit the way that miracles can appear in your life by having expectations.  Be open to them to appear from Source beyond your imagination.

BELIEVE  ~

Believe in yourself!  Have faith in the magic and miracles.  If you can conceive it, you can achieve it.  One of the secrets of the universe is the power of belief.  If you're able to imagine and truly believe that something can happen, miracles will unfold.  Expectations can act in both positive and negative ways, and your fixed thoughts and opinions about yourself have created your world and experiences.  If you've had an unpleasant history, this often creates negative beliefs about yourself and the world around you.  Know that the past doesn't need to equal the future.  Your new, positive conceptions can create a fresh and exhilarating future - simply believe it is possible!  Visualize and imagine your life as you desire it to be, and most important, feel how good it will be ... and hang on for a great ride.

Soul of Courage

Expressing my deepest thoughts......

I'm writing today because of the commitment I have made to my writing  ~  my heart doesn't feel like finding positive words, it truly feels more like crying.  But I honor myself and my promises..... So I write, but do I feel like it....no.

My heart is heavy for my daughter and her family.  They have made a very heartfelt decision to assist Duke (their beloved fur friend) to cross the 'Rainbow Bridge' today.  He has graced my daughters life with 13 yrs of joy.

He had no idea that his life was about to change forever when a 20 yr old girl decided to rescue him and give him a safe and loving home. He was embarking on a crazy, fun, and wild adventure to say the least. Staying up late during parties, or waiting up late for his mom to get home from a party.  Didn't really matter to him,  he was in for the long haul.  Waiting or rather jumping with joy just to be a part of her life.  I remember my FEAR when I met him.  She only filled me in with a few details when she told me that she had adopted a fur friend.  She left out one tiny detail.  When I went over to meet him he was hyper and LARGE.  Not exactly what I was expecting.    She did tell me that he was a few months old but I was still thinking small and cuddly.  At the time I was still adjusting to Brandie being out and on her own and my 'mother- worry' was still on high alert.  So when I met Duke the 'mother worry' went to a whole new level.  As I am looking at him and trying to avoid his jumping attacks,  I said to her ' he looks like a pitbull', and as she was putting his leash on to walk him she  walked out the door and casually said, 'he is' and left me standing there in complete SHOCK./FEAR.

As the years went by I was grateful for the pitbull in my daughters life.  As far as vicious... he would rather lick you than intimidate you.  He has been the best friend she has ever had.  He saw her through her partying days, he  listened patiently when she needed a shoulder to cry on, he graciously accepted her marriage (that brought an amazing and wonderful dad into his life) and then life became a whirlwind again when he lovingly welcomed his human brother and sister into his life.  He has brought so much love, laughter, and appreciation to us.  So we send you forward our sweet Duke into RAINBOW BLISS.  We love you!!!

This morning I ask the angels for a card that would help to inspire each amazing person that chooses to open this blog this morning. I know that these words will grace someones life in a special way today.    My hope is that you sparkle just a bit brighter after you read this.

  AWAKENING

It's time to wake up!  Step out of your routine and notice what's truly occurring around you.  Don't be lulled into complacency.  Awaken your potential and power - move, shake, and take action.  You're opening to your true spiritual path.  

The forces of the universe are propelling you in the direction of your destiny.  You're awakening to your higher self and spiritual vibrations.  This card appears when your ready to be aware and notice things as they really are.  Take off your blinders ... see what's important in your life.  Search for the essence of what's true, authentic, and real.

Synchronicity

SYNCHRONICITY  ~  the experience of two or more events that are apparently casually unrelated or unlikely to occur together by chance.

I have discovered a trend of sorts that has been showing up over and over for me via my journals, the art books of my grandchildren and on my desk.  What I've become aware of is all the color that is alive and popping all around me.  I have noticed that I write with different colored pens in my journals, sometimes I am drawn to write each paragraph in a different shade.  When my grandchildren and I set and draw together it ends up being explosions of magical color all over the paper.  I realize that I allow my creativity to be free when I create with the kids. It makes me feel happy. And last night as I walked past my desk I happen to see it differently than usual.  There wasn't anything new or added but it captured my attention in a way it never had before, colorful and creative objects were surrounding my space. The several decks of angel cards that are so magical with their bright and cheery colors,  the multicolored journals and books, and a considerable amount of colored pens, and markers. Lots and lots of happiness everywhere! This why I am the happiest in this particular place.  It expresses... JOY.

I guess the attention to bright colors is a bit shocking to me because I am more about subtle color.  My home is beautiful and all about earth tones and gentle pops of color here and there.  I am even conservative with color in the way I dress.  I get balance and serenity from my conservative side.  However,  I've just became re-introduced  to 'Goddess Tina', she has been keeping a low profile since childhood and was content to stay quiet until I was ready to invite her playfulness and fun spirit back to play.  Why did I forget about her?  I like her!  She brings out the expressive and creative side to me.

Anyway, back to synchronicity :  I found myself playing on the internet yesterday.  Looking for something to peak my creative interest.  I ended up on www. planetsark.com.  I have not ventured over to her (SARK) website in a year or more.  She is the queen of fun with color.  So anyway,  as I was looking around her site I saw a section where she posted the different interviews she has had with people.  As I scanned through them I noticed a familiar name. It was the very person that I am taking an e-course through.  I thought, 'wow what a coincidence'.  I went on to read the interview and I realized something even more familiar.  The interview with Leonie was also featured in one of SARK's books, 'Juicy pens Thirsty paper.'   Here is the irony,  SARK has written many many books and I only own one.  Can you guess which one it is,  yep you're right, Juicy pens Thirsty paper.  

This book was given to me a couple years ago by my beautiful daughter in-law.  It came about through her courage to follow her intuition.  She was in a bookstore to purchase something for herself when she realized her attention was being called in another direction.  As she turned around she says 'this book practically jumped off the table at me' and she knew it was for me.  Not sure if it would be of interest to me she went with her intuitive belief and bought it anyway.   I was thrilled to receive it then.... and now it has found it's way back to my awareness.  Thank you my darling Nic for always being so in tune with me.

So, I am excited that synchronicity has brought Leonie and SARK back into my life.........  Between the two of them they have re- introduced me to 'GODDESS TINA',  I really like this new friend and I think I will ask her on more play-dates.

 Just as the synchronistic ~ universe would have it,  my new Soul Coaching cards just arrived in the mail and I pulled one for today  ..... are you ready for this    ~    PLAYFULNESS:  My joy is the greatest gift that I give to others.  Allow your inner child to play today.  Enjoy yourself and have fun!

Life Lessons

Every now and then I get to witness yet another amazing healing take place within my family.  Sometimes it is a huge A'HA moment and other times it's just a gentle shift in perception that can change an entire situation.  Whichever case it may be, it is always heart-warming to watch as the healing takes bloom.

I belong to a fairly large family which comes with unlimited amounts of love and support, and it also comes with big personalities and strongly opinionated loved ones.  Although this is what creates an interesting and dynamic family it also generates opportunities for misunderstandings, hurt feelings and lack of communication.  This family never lacks for conversation. However, we have found it difficult at times to talk to each other when it comes to matters of the heart.  

Life presented a perfect opportunity for another Divine healing this past weekend. And my family passed with flying colors.   A comment was made between family members,  and although I think the comment was expressed more from an observation point of view,  it was heard as a judgmental comment . Feelings were hurt and a line had felt crossed.  However, the most amazing thing took place immediately (communication). Once the person who had made the comment realized the other family member was hurt a sweet and honest apology was made.  All was forgiven and the day moved on with enjoyment. Sometimes we can feel like we are being authentic when speak our mind freely but there are times when we should just ask ourselves first  ~  is it true, is it kind, is it necessary.


The issue that happened was not major in any way but at one point in time it could of been. Due to the lack of honesty. The most valuable lesson we are learning as a family is to talk to one another not just with one another.  We are responsible for teaching others how to treat us.   Once again I was there to bare witness to lovingkindness and how it shifts the energy effortlessly when we remember to communicate.  What keeps a group like us strong is the unconditional love and mutual respect for one another. This beautiful family of mine is beginning to let those protective guards down, opening up and sharing our vulnerable moments with each other and offering gentle heartfelt apologies when necessary. The pride that lives inside me is immeasurable ...I adore the fact that we are all evolving together....     (huge smile).

 I saw this quote the other day and thought it was perfect in today's post.  Apologizing:  does not always mean you were wrong and the other person was right.  It just means you value the relationship more than your ego. So so true!

We will still make mistakes with each other and still slip up from time to time with unsolicited advice and unnecessary comments, however, we are a family that is deeply invested in each others happiness and after all, life is to short to live any other way.........
