Colorscope

I am fascinated with color.  For me, color represents a 'soul conversation'.  There is a specific connection that speaks to me through colors.  When I find myself deeply drawn to a specific shade or I notice a certain color over and over through out the day, I recognize that as my inner self is trying to communicate with me.

The chakra system has specific colors that resonate with each energy field so I pay close attention when spirit is capturing my attention through color.

Although there are some slight differences in opinion regarding the seven chakra colors, the major colors associated with the chakras are, from the top of the head downwards:

WHITE/PURPLE (Seventh or Crown Chakra, located just above the head)
VIOLET (Sixth Chakra or Third Eye, located just above the eyebrow centre)
BLUE (Fifth or Throat Chakra, located in the throat)
GREEN (Fourth or Heart Chakra, located in the centre of the chest)
YELLOW/GOLD (Third Chakra or Solar Plexus, located behind the navel)
ORANGE (Second or Sacral Chakra, located behind the sexual organs)
RED (First or Base or Root Chakra, located at the base of the spine)

For instance today yellow has really peaked my interest.  It seems like I'm noticing the yellow flowers in my garden more so that usual.  Two yellow butterflies right outside my office window and the angel card that I pulled for myself today had primarily yellow in it.  So I am intuitively checking to be sure my third chakra/solar plexus is open and that I closely monitor my 'gut' instincts today.

I also love to check out the colorscope on Elizabeth Harpers website.  It's fun and gives me a bit more insight to the specific color choice for the day.

Here was my colorscope message for today  -  YELLOW

In the Course of Miracles it declares that there are only two emotions -

FEAR   and        LOVE

Fear is yellow and love is pink.  You have chosen yellow, but these colors are intertwined.  They represent new birth and the opening of a new door, all you need to do is let go the fear and walk through it.  On the other side is love, so what are you afraid of?
Hmmmmm,  it sounds to me that yellow was a perfect choice for me today,  it was one more reminder that fear is simply the absence of love.  My 'gut' instinct today is telling me to pay attention to all of the LOVE that surrounds me ....  there is no need for fear.
