GRATITUDE
I found myself struggling yesterday because I couldn't find planned time to write in the blog. Life intervened. The day took on an unplanned direction. I like to believe that I am the kind of person that is good with being spontaneous, but enter the VIRGO and the reality is ORDER . I usually have a semi-planned day laid out in my head, (this is what makes the virgo feel in control). When 'little' things show up in my day that were not part of my plan, I try to physically embrace that moment while mentally revising my orderly schedule. That might be a great plan in a professional setting but my day is filled with REAL life interruptions.
My precious granddaughter running through the house looking for me so that she can give me one of her amazing 'heart to heart' hugs and asking if we can make 'shrek juice' aka a green smoothie. My gorgeous daughter popping over to have a cup of coffee with me. A phone call from a friend who just wants to share a moment of their day with me. Seeing mom setting on the patio and stopping for a moment to go join her. Getting an unexpected call from my amazing son, or having loved ones stop by just to share time over a glass of wine. Spending the evening watching my adorable grandson play T-ball.
What I realized today..... is that yesterday was a perfect plan in every way. Every small interruption was in Divine ORDER. Writing in the blog wasn't the important part of the day - experiencing my life and all those unplanned moments of love was the greater plan. Allowing myself to embrace those moments fully without letting the ego (my plan) interrupt God' plan.
I'm tossing tons of GRATITUDE confetti over each unplanned moment in my life.....
